Who runs this site

EV Charger Index is owned and operated by HH Online Ventures LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida. Pages are compiled and signed by the EV Charger Index data desk, which is how the company signs its work on this site; no page carries a personal byline.

The site is independent of every manufacturer and retailer it lists and is not affiliated with any of them. It is a data index, not an installer: confirm circuit sizing and installation with a licensed electrician.

What the site is for

One question, answered with numbers: which model fits your budget and your home. Prices and specifications for every model sit in one comparison table, and every model has its own page with its sellers and sources. A value the sources do not publish is left blank, never estimated.

How the data is collected and checked

Every specification and price traces back to a named source: the ENERGY STAR certified products database, manufacturer product pages, and EIA electricity rates. Each price is tied to a named seller's listing for that exact model, and the whole dataset is re-checked weekly. The full process, including what is excluded and why, is on the methodology page.

The same data is free to download as a CSV file from the data download page, and it is mirrored on Kaggle, Hugging Face and GitHub.

How the site earns money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you buy through one, the seller pays this site a commission, and the price you pay is the seller's own price either way. The programs are run by retailers and manufacturers, some directly and some through affiliate networks, and every one is listed on the affiliate disclosure page.

Commissions never change the order of a list, a ranking, or any number on this site. Models with no affiliate program are listed, sorted and priced exactly like the rest.

Editorial independence

Placement here is not for sale. No manufacturer, seller or affiliate network can pay to be listed, to move up a list, or to change a figure. Every list states the one measure it is sorted by, and that measure is applied the same way to every brand.

Corrections

If a price, a specification or a statement on this site is wrong, email [email protected] with the page address, the figure you believe is wrong, and a source for the correct one, such as the maker's specification sheet or the seller's listing.

Each report is checked against the source. A confirmed error is corrected in the dataset, and because every page is built from that one dataset, it changes everywhere the figure appears at the same time. More ways to reach us are on the contact page.
